Erica Allison has joined United Systems Computer Group as a technical services coordinator to manage daily communications with clients. In her new role, Allison's main objectives are to respond to clients' service requests while coordinating and managing the schedules of United System's team of technical engineers. Allison's professional experience includes various sales and marketing roles, each with a focus on customer service.

Martin J. Kossoff, an independent financial adviser affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network and president of Kerkering Barberio Financial Services Inc., has been named to the Financial Times 400 Top Advisors list. The Financial Times, now in its 125th year, as one of the world's leading global business news organizations, marks this as the first list of its kind. The Financial Times 400 is based on each adviser's performance in six primary areas, including assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, experience, credentials, and accessibility.

Nancy Arbuckle has rejoined the New Homes & Condominium Division of Michael Saunders & Company as project director. Her return coincides with the burgeoning recovery of new residential construction throughout Southwest Florida. Arbuckle's background includes the development of mixed-use communities, resort and planned-unit developments, golf and country club communities, condominiums and custom-built homes. A native of Massachusetts, Arbuckle attended Ringling School of Art & Design and is a graduate of the College of Design, Construction and Planning of the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University's MBA program.

Shaun P. Merriman, president and CEO of Gateway Bank, was named incoming chairman of the board of trustees for Doctors Hospital of Sarasota for the 2014 fiscal year. Merriman's term will begin in January. He has served as a member of the board of trustees for the hospital since 2009.

The Board of Directors for 1st Manatee Bank has appointed Lewis O. Benner Jr., bank president and chief executive officer. Benner started his banking career 35 years ago in Lancaster, Pa., relocating to Sarasota in 1999. He held commercial and senior lending positions before being chosen as Community Bank President for Gold Bank, Sarasota Region, in 2004. In 2006, he was named executive vice president and chief lending officer for Sabal Palm Bank in Sarasota. Since 2010, Benner has served as chief credit officer for 1st Manatee Bank.

Keller Williams on the Water welcomes its newest associates to its Bradenton office: Jennifer Sciarappa-Eaton, Adam LaFavre, Lisa Joy Elliott, Michelle Anderegg, Nikolay Safonov, Cheryl White, Joshua Petitt and Jeffrey Petitt -- and to its Sarasota office: Nancy Jo Welte.

Victoria Jaensch Karins, an attorney with Jaensch Immigration Law Firm, has been elected chairperson of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Central Florida Chapter. The chapter includes more than 300 immigration attorneys. As chair, Karins will serve as the initial point of contact for outside organizations, companies, and agencies. She will be in charge of the chapter's general operations and communications to and from the national level. Together with her brother, managing attorney P. Christopher Jaensch, she is part of the largest immigration law firm on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Lou Marinaccio, representing MGA Insurance Group and the National Association of Professional Agents, is heading to Washington, D.C., for the Agents for Change Anual Legislative Conference. The event runs from May 14-15. Marinaccio, along with other Agents for Change members, will spend Wednesday meeting with members of Congress and their staff.

Moustapha Guimei has joined Keller Williams Realty. He formerly was a finance executive in the luxury hotel industry.
