Stolen steel results in two arrests in E. Manatee

— MANATEE - Two men were charged with grand theft and their vehicle was seized by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office for allegedly trying to steal steel I-beams. Detectives responded around 8:11 p.m. Sunday to the 2200 block of 72nd Drive East where the suspects had allegedly loaded a large steel I-beam belonging to the business into a red truck. A witness contacted law enforcement and continued to watch the suspects load steel while waiting for deputies' arrival.

Arriving detectives arrested James Tindall, 33 and Michael Mosier, 47, on the property.

The suspects were transported to county jail without incident.
