Mixon Fruit Farms will host a Summer Antiques, Arts and Crafts Fair 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 27 and every fourth Saturday of the month through September. The evening will conclude with a highly emotional walk down memory lane where fans relive moments of joy, sorrow, tragedy and triumph from 41 years of the beloved soap opera. Unleash your inner Monet outside in the park at the annual "Painting in the Park," hosted by the Museum of Fine Arts 1-4 p.m. April 28. The event will be held on the north lawn at the museum and features unique methods of painting with hands-on activities for everyone, including giant-box painting, kite-flying, tricycle mural, and more. The Bradentucky Bombers, Manatee County's flat track women's roller derby team will skate against the Fort Myers Derby Girls 7 p.m. April 28. Tailgating will be at 6 p.m. and an after-party at the Lost Kangaroo in downtown Bradenton will be 9:15 p.m. For this game, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Lakewood Ranch.
