2 arrested after robbery spree in Bradenton, deputies say

MANATEE -- Two suspects were arrested Sunday after they snatched a woman's purse outside a Bradenton department store, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 12:59 p.m., one of the two suspects got out of a car and robbed a woman of her purse outside the Marshals store at 7100 Cortez Road W., according to a news release.

"Through investigation and great witness observation, we were able to locate and arrest the two suspects," the report states.

The suspects were identified as Dillon Ureman, 19, and a juvenile.

About an hour earlier, deputies say one of the suspects tried to rob at gunpoint a woman standing outside of Plato's Closet, 665 Cortez Road W. The suspect demanded money, but the woman refused.

The suspect then fled, according to the sheriff's office.
