Weather alert: Rain possible Wednesday in Bradenton

MANATEE -- Showers and thunderstorms are possible in Bradenton on Wednesday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Patchy fog is possible before 8 a.m. Otherwise, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 80 and south-southwesterly winds of 6 to 13 mph. There is a 20 percent chance of rain after 2 p.m.

Wednesday evening, the chance of rain increases to 40 percent after 8 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 65 and southeasterly winds of 9 to 13 mph, according to the Weather Service.
