Alligator Alley on Interstate 75 reopened to traffic

Interstate 75 (Alligator Alley) and State Road 29 in Collier County have been reopened, after traffic was halted by fog and smoke.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers will be monitoring the visibility conditions in the affected areas throughout the day and nighttime hours.

Troopers urged drivers to show caution as they go through the area.
