I-75's Alligator Alley reopens after brush fire closed it down

UPDATE: All lanes of Interstate 75 on Alligator Alley and on State Road 29 in Collier County are now open, Lieutenant Gregory S. Bueno with the Florida Highway Patrol reported just after 11 a.m. Monday. Earlier:

The Florida Highway Patrol has closed Interstate 75 between mile marker 101 in Collier County and U.S. 27 in Broward County, the stretch of road known as Alligator Alley, because of "severely reduced visibility" from a brush fire in the vicinity of State Road 29 SR 29 is also closed at U.S. 41 for northbound traffic, according to FHP.
