2 charged with burglarizing storage units in Manatee

MANATEE -- Two men were charged early Friday with burglarizing mini-storage units after a deputy spotted them acting suspiciously at the business, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 4:30 a.m. the deputy, who was on patrol, saw the suspects at the Airport Mini-Storage, 455 Braden Ave., according to a news release.

"Further investigation revealed that four storage units had been burglarized and property from one of the units was located in a vehicle tied to the suspects," the report states.

Deputies also found burglary tools, according to the release.

The suspects, identified as Donald Zes, 40, and Aaron Moore, 43, were arrested and taken to the Manatee County jail.
