March 26, 2013

BRADENTON -- Bradenton police are seeking two suspects after receiving complaints that they are allegedly selling fraudulent cruise packages.

Dale Lucas, 25, and Todd Kelley, 22, are allegedly selling the packages and other travel services while claiming to represent an online business.

The men, wearing collared shirts and khaki pants or shorts, are targeting locations along Manatee Avenue and Cortez Road, according to police.

The suspects allegedly present laminated marketing materials, collect payment for the travel package, then flee the scene, a release states.

Anyone who has been a victim of the scam or in contact with the suspects is asked to contact Det. Troy Masterson at 941-932-9300, ext. 373.
