Recap: Minnesota vs. NY Yankees

Robinson Cano had a two-run double and Ronnier Mustelier contributed three hits and two RBI in the Yankees' 9-7 triumph over the Minnesota Twins.

Ben Francisco, Chris Stewart and Melky Mesa each contributed an RBI to New York's four-run eighth inning. Starter Ivan Nova, though, was tagged for five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings of work.

Vance Worley wasn't much better in the start for Minnesota, also surrendering four earned runs, but allowing five total on eight hits over five frames.

Justin Morneau, Ryan Doumit and Dan Rohlfing each clubbed solo homers in the setback.
