The NMCA Muscle Car Nationals will be noon-5 p.m. March 21-22, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 23, and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. March 24. Sarasota County Fair: Sarasota County Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota

The 77th Annual Sarasota County Fair will be 2-11 p.m. Fridays, noon-11 p.m. Saturdays, noon-10 p.m. Sundays, and 2-10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays through March 24. The event features arts, craft, steer and swine shows, plant sale, mechanical rides and live entertainment at Crackerland by the following artists: Ober Rivers, David Smash, Drum Studio Allstars, Trapezoid, Myakka, Ship of Fools Unplugged, Steve Arvey, Passerine, Bill Schustik, and George Worthmore. Rock-n-Roll Family Easter Festival: The Tabernacle Church, 4141 DeSoto Road, Sarasota

The Tabernacle Church will host a Rock-n-Roll Family Easter Festival 10 a.m.-noon March 23 featuring a helicopter egg drop followed by an egg hunt for ages 1-12. There will be games, crafts, music, a puppet show, bounce houses and more. The church will be serving hot dogs, snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn and drinks at no charge. Mobile Ministry will be distributing bags of groceries and provide free shopping for clothing items for free to families in need. The festival is free and open to the public. Bring your preschoolers to take the ride of their lives at "Day Out With Thomas: The Go Go Thomas Tour 2013," with 25-minute train rides departing every 45 min., rain or shine, beginning at 9 a.m. through 3:45 p.m. March 23-24. The event provides children of all ages the opportunity to climb aboard and take a ride with Thomas as well as participate in Thomas & Friends themed activities. There will be an inflatable slide, bounce house, face painting, inflatable snail obstacle course, G-scale train display, hayrides, a mini-tire train ride and more. Egg hunts are: 2:30 p.m. for ages 2-3, 3 p.m. for ages 6-8, 3:30 p.m. for ages 4-5 and 4 p.m. for ages 9-11. Other activities include bounce houses, face painting, toddler egg hunt and more. The 18th Annual Giving Hunger the Blues will be noon-8 p.m. March 24 and is an all-day family and charity block party with entertainment and fun for all ages. Live music will be provided by live bands on two stages, including Sarasota Orchestra's Wind Ensemble and Brass Quintet, Come Back Alice, Fogt's All Stars, Lauren Mitchell Band, The Boneshakers, The Florida Blues Brothers, H2H -- The Ultimate AC/DC Tribute Band, Drum Studio All Stars, Shoebox Monsters, Olivia Little and The Alter Ego's, Jazz Juvenocracy, Traphik 3:16, The Garbage Men, Boom Goes The Dynamite and Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo.
