BRADENTON -- Six people, including four children, were injured in a two-vehicle traffic accident Wednesday in Bradenton.
The crash occurred about 3:45 p.m. on Sixth Avenue East near Third Street East. A car and van, which belongs to a nursery school, were involved, according to officials at the scene.
Three ambulances were called to the scene from Manatee EMS to transfer the patients, officials said. The extent of injuries was unknown.
Bradenton police officers are investigating the crash.
The accident blocked the two right lanes, funneling traffic into one lane. The lanes were clear about an hour after the accident.
