MANATEE -- Someone shot out the window of a parked car about 6 p.m. Tuesday in Bradenton.

The victimized car is a 2010 four-door Chevrolet which was parked in the area of 5613 8th St. Ct. E., Bradenton, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

Units were in the area on another call when they heard a shot ring out and a car speed off, the report states.

Deputies raced a few streets away and found the Chevrolet with what appeared to be a fresh bullet hole in the rear window, the report states.

The suspect vehicle was said by witnesses to be a dark green four-door with tint, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am or Ford Taurus, according to the report.

An investigation is continuing, the report states.
