Chamber to recognize Leadership Sarasota County

Leadership programto be lauded

SARASOTA -- The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce will put a spotlight on the work of its Leadership Sarasota County program and its many alumni at 11:30 a.m. April 23 at Michael's on East, 1212 East Ave. S.

The special awards and recognition luncheon, sponsored by Sun Hydraulics Corporation, recognizes outstanding Leadership Sarasota County alumni who continue to strengthen the community through business and civic leadership. It also provides an opportunity for leadership alumni and supporters to share the importance of the adult and youth leadership programs with their peers and our community.

This year's honorees are Larry Face, Next Level Achievement; Jim Kuhlman, Florida Shores Bank; and Carolyn Mason, Sarasota County Commissioner.

Kathy Marlowe & Associates opens branch office

SARASOTA -- Kathy Marlowe & Associates, a boutique real estate brokerage serving Sarasota and Manatee counties, has opened a new branch office in downtown Sarasota to better serve clients in downtown Sarasota and the coastal communities.

Marlowe, who started her boutique brokerage firm in 2009, said the need to open the new office in downtown Sarasota is the result of her growing business and the desire to accommodate her downtown and luxury market clientele.

Island Real Estate celebrates Friday check-ins
