What was the best business advice you ever received?

Keep your overhead low.

If you could choose another profession, what would it be?

Being a writer. As a second job I teach law at a local law school and I enjoy teaching, but I really enjoy writing more. I experienced that as a music critic, when I had a monthly column and really loved it.

What's the biggest risk you have taken in your career?

To run for public office. I ran for public defender. I thought it was the right thing to do to quit my job. But I lost the election and I lost my job.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?

I really want to visit Barcelona, Spain, for the architecture, museums and the food.
