Recap: Tampa Bay vs. NY Yankees

Bobby Wilson's two-run single paced a three-run eighth inning as the Yankees got past the Rays, 3-1, in exhibition play.

Slade Heathcott drove in the other run for New York, while Brett Marshall earned the win by allowing one unearned run over 3 2/3 relief innings.

Ivan Nova got the start, tossing four innings of four-hit, scoreless ball.

Mike Fontenot knocked in the lone run for Tampa Bay, which received five scoreless frames from starter Alex Cobb.

Dane De La Rosa was charged in defeat with five hits and three runs -- one earned -- in his one-inning outing.
