Recap: Chicago WSox vs. Colorado

Paul Konerko hit a solo home run and Chris Sale tossed five solid innings as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies, 3-1, on Monday in spring training action.

Sale struck out two and gave up just one run on three hits to pick up the win. Gordon Beckham went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Andrew Garcia's double also produced a run for the White Sox.

Colorado starter Drew Pomeranz was saddled with the loss, allowing two runs on four hits over four innings of work. Yorvit Torreabla produced the Rockies' lone run with a homer in the sixth.
