Kentucky man in Manatee jail on fraud charges

MANATEE -- A 27-year-old Kentucky man is in the Manatee County jail on multiple charges involving the fraudulent use of credit cards.

Joseph Bordas II, who is from Winchester, Ky., was arrested in Manatee County Sunday and charged with seven counts of fraudulent use of credit cards and one count of possessing stolen property, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office arrest report.

Bordas also was charged with violating probation and having no valid driver license, the report stated.

Bordas' bail is $13,000, according to the sheriff's office website.
