Jim Pomroy, the owner and operations manager for Gator Air Conditioning, has been named chief instructor for Chin Motorsports, a provider of noncompetitive track events for sports car enthusiasts. In that position, Pomroy teaches novice drivers who are learning to maneuver on the racetrack and enthusiasts who have racing aspirations. Chin Motorsports provides the opportunity for high-performance car owners to receive advanced driver training in a controlled, closed-course environment at some of the most renowned venues in the country, such as Sebring International Raceway, Watkins Glen International and Virginia International Raceway.

The American Business Women's Association named Sharon Francis-Campbell the 2013 Chapter Woman of the Year for the 1st Class Chapter. Erin Cigich, president and manager of Clickbooth, a local performance-based online marketing company, was been named a Glass Ceiling Award winner by the Florida Diversity Council. Cigich, along with the 12 other recipients, was formally recognized during an award ceremony at the third annual Florida Women's Conference on March 1 at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale-Davie.
