MANATEE -- Two juveniles were interrupted while in the process of stealing laptop computers from Harllee Middle School Saturday night, the Manatee Sheriff's Office reports.
Security for the school, 6423 9th St. E., reported a burglary in process to the sheriff's office. Upon arrival at 10:08 p.m., deputies found a point of entry and began searching the building with a police dog.
Two suspects, ages 17 and 14, ran from the building and were located by a canine deputy. They were taken into custody without injury, the sheriff's office reported.
They were interviewed and taken to juvenile detention.
