Mike Pelfrey struck out five in three innings of work as the Minnesota Twins blanked the Boston Red Sox, 2-0, in spring training.

Brian Dozier and Ryan Doumit each drove in a run in the third inning off of Ryan Dempster, who lasted 3 2/3 innings and gave up five hits in the loss.

The Red Sox recorded five hits to Minnesota's 10.
