ELLENTON -- A 35-year-old Ellenton man has been arrested and charged with molesting a child younger than 12 years old.

Jeremy Ryan O'Dell, who lives in the 6700 block of 36th Avenue E., was arrested 11:23 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

The arrest report does not give details of the charges.

The sheriff's office website indicates O'Dell was released from the Manatee County jail later on Wednesday.
