Flights between Chicago and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport have been canceled Tuesday because a winter storm is forecast to bring up to 10 inches of snow to northern Illinois.
A United Airlines flight had been scheduled to arrive at SRQ at 12:41 p.m., and depart for a return flight to Chicago O'Hare International Airport at 1:26 p.m. No other scheduled flights at SRQ appear affected by the weather, according to the SRQ website.
The Chicago Department of Aviation said Tuesday that more than 770 flights were canceled at O'Hare International Airport. Airlines have canceled more than 215 flights at Midway International Airport. No significant delays were reported at either airport.
