Apparent sinkhole in Palm Harbor prompts evacuations

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue is on the scene of an apparent sinkhole at a residence.

Authorities said initial reports show extensive cracking on the interior and exterior of the home at 114 Harbor Drive

All occupants have been evacuated from the home and there are no injuries. The county building inspector is en route.

The apparent sinkhole was discovered sometime Tuesday morning.

As precaution, the two homes next to this location were evacuated.
