n Sarasota County: $20 million in tourism taxes for infrastructure improvements at Nathan Benderson Park. $1.1 million to seek world championships.

n State of Florida: $5 million for vehicular bridge, wave attenuation system, and preparation for future buildings.

n Manatee County: $1.2 million on improvements to Fort Hamer Park, including $440,000 for a crew storage building (boat house), restrooms, parking lot, floating dock, amenities and landscaping. West Coast Inland Navigational District and Florida Boating Improvement Program provided $341,000. The balance comes from county parks impact fees. No property tax monies or general revenues were budgeted or spent on the project. $1.1 million to seek world championships.
