— Two men were robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

According to a news release, the men were changing a flat tire at about 1:30 a.m. in the 5000 block of 21st Way East, when a black Honda Accord approached them.

With the driver waiting, two men exited the Honda, one with long dreadlocks armed with a black handgun, the other wearing a cammo jacket holding a SKS assault rifle. The suspects robbed them of undisclosed items before fleeing in the Honda, the report said.
