Prep softball: Palmetto trips Wauchula Hardee PALMETTO — Auria Mounts went the distance on the mound and had three hits and three RBIs at the plate to lead the Palmetto softball team to a 9-4 victory over Wauchula Hardee in non-district play. Britton Stancil and Jordan Whitaker each added two hits for the Tigers (5-3). Sarah McClintic drove in three runs, and Keeley Ecker had two RBIs.

Girls lacrosse: Saint Stephen’s takes down SMA LAKEWOOD RANCH — Kendall Miller and Grace Barnes each knocked in three goals as the Saint Stephen’s girls lacrosse team earned an 11-6 victory over Sarasota Military Academy at the Premier Sports Complex. Connor Kirkland and Indre Zalepuga had two goals apiece for the Falcons (1-2). Katie Pierce also scored, and Kelsey Leskinen made eight saves.
