Juco baseball: Manatees get easy win

OCALA -- Three State College of Florida batters had multiple hits in a 7-3 victory over the host Central Florida Community College Patriots.

Leading the hitting attack for the Manatees (15-7) were Conner Oliver (2-for-5, double, triple, three RBIs), Conner Hale (2-for-5, two doubles, two RBIs) and Jared Smith (2-for-4, double, two RBIs). Casey Eskew picked up the victory in relief.

Prep tennis: Southeast boys blank Bayshore

BRADENTON -- The Southeast Seminoles (1-4) coasted to a home victory, picking up their first win of the season in winning all seven matches against the Bayshore Bruins (0-6).

Singles winners were Alexander Strzalkowski, Ryan Eberly, Konrad Strzalkowski, Michael Moran and Jake Mattraw. Doubles winners were Moran and Mattraw and Stephen Henry and Parth Patel.

Prep softball: Panthers rout conference foe

TAMPA -- The Bradenton Christian Panthers handed host Bayshore Christian (2-1) it first loss in a Bay Conference game with a 16-0 drubbing in a game called after three innings because of the mercy rule.

Leading the Panthers were Hailey Dearlove (3-for-4), Madison Dreier, who had a double and inside-the-park homer, and Kara Saylor and Madison Hogue, who each had triples. Saylor picked up the win on the mound with two no-hit innings for the Panthers (5-2).
