Recap: Colorado vs. Texas

Troy Tulowitzki drove in a pair of runs and Charlie Culberson hit a three-run homer in Colorado's 9-1 drubbing of the Texas Rangers in spring training action on Monday.

Following Culberson's home run in the eighth, Nolan Arenado added a solo shot off Neil Ramirez, who gave up five runs total in the inning. Earlier, Dexter Fowler tripled to drive in a run and DJ LeMahieu and Ben Paulsen each had an RBI apiece in the victory.

Chris Volstad started for the Rockies and pitched two scoreless innings. Daniel Rosenbaum followed and earned the win, also not allowing a run in two innings pitched.

Ian Kinsler drove in the lone run for Texas on a sacrifice fly. After Martin Perez pitched two scoreless innings to begin the game, Justin Grimm was tagged for the loss after surrendering three runs on four hits.
