Man beaten, robbed by three assailants

— A man was beaten and robbed while walking in Bradenton early Saturday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reported.

According to a news release, the victim, a 28-year-old male, was walking south in the 3500 block on 27th Ave. East at about 3:20 a.m., when he was approached by three men walking north.

One of the three suspects punched the victim in the right side of his face, knocking him to the ground. The suspects then took the victim's keys and wallet. The suspects then fled on foot to the north, deputies said.
