Rosedale Golf & Country Club gets a makeover
EAST MANATEE -- Rosedale Golf & Country Club recently completed a multi-year renovation of its clubhouse, trading its dated "Florida casual" look for at makeover highlighted by dark woods, traditional details and a rich color palette.
Prompted in part by member request and by management's desire for an updated style, the extensive renovation project included all new carpeting, furniture, paint, wall coverings and artwork. Major purchases were made from U.S. companies, and all five of the project's subcontractors were from the local area.
Total budget for the interior renovations was $300,000, with additional funds being spent for a new heating and air conditioning system.
Originally built in 1995, the 22,000-square-foot clubhouse is the social centerpiece of the country club, a place where members meet for lunch and dinner, socialize with neighbors and enjoy elaborate Sunday brunches. It is also a popular venue for wedding receptions, banquets and other special events.
