2 juveniles charged with attempted vehicle burglaries in E. Manatee

MANATEE -- Two juveniles were arrested early Tuesday on charges they tried to burglarize two vehicles in the Mill Creek neighborhood of East Manatee, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 3:19 a.m., a deputy on patrol in the 13600 block of Second Avenue East saw the two suspects trying to hide from him, crouching in front of a truck. As the deputy approached the residence, the juveniles stood up and tried to walk away at a quick pace, according to a news release.

The deputy detained the suspects, and during an investigation it was determined the juveniles have tried to burglarize two vehicles, according to the sheriff's office. The suspects, whose names were not released, were then arrested.
