MANATEE -- Three juveniles and an adult escaped injury Sunday night, when someone fired two or three rounds at them with a .40 caliber handgun, the Manatee Sheriff's Office reported.
The shooting incident followed a verbal argument that turned physical in the 7800 block of 17th Street East. After the fight both parties shook hands and went their separate ways. Approximately 10 minutes later, about 5:50 p.m., a 21-year-old man who had been in the fight returned as a passenger in a gray or tan vehicle driven by another person, the sheriff's office reported.
The passenger exited the car, yelled at the man he had fought with and fired two to three rounds at the victims. The shooter re-entered the car and they fled the area.
