MANATEE -- Sunny, breezy conditions were expected Friday in Bradenton, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters were calling for a high of 68 and north-northeasterly winds of 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Friday night was expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 44 and northeasterly winds of 7 to 9 mph.
Because of the high winds and low humidity, a red flag warning will be in effect for Manatee and Pinellas counties for from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., indicating favorable conditions for the spread of wildfires.
