School board recognizes King Speech Contest winner

Nathalie Kabongo-Chavez, a ninth-grader at Lakewood Ranch High School, shown with her mother, Rosa, was recognized by the Manatee School Board this week as the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Speech Contest winner. Also recognized was middle school winner Alex Kumar of Nolan Middle School.
