MANATEE -- Two 17-year-old were arrested for burglary in the 3500 block of 19th Street West about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

The suspect’s were observed entering the victim’s fenced-in yard. While one of the suspects checked the windows, the other kept watch.

As deputies approached, the lookout whistled and both suspects jumped the fence, the sheriff's office reported.

There was damage to a screen and the air conditioning unit had been disturbed. Nothing was missing from inside the house. Both suspects were transported to the juvenile detention facility without incident.
