Woman stabbed while playing cards in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A 35-year-old woman was stabbed during an argument with a man with whom she was playing cards late Friday in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The stabbing happened about 10 p.m. at a residence in the 400 block of 32nd Avenue East, according to a news release.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for her non-life-threatening injuries, according to a report.

No arrest had been made, but the investigation was continuing according to the sheriff's office.
