Parade in Palmetto today

Palmetto's annual Martin Luther King Day parade begins at noon at Lincoln Middle School, at Second Avenue and 17th Street East. The parade will travel west on 17th Street West, turning south on Second Avenue West, turning west on 10th Street West before heading north on Eighth Avenue West. The parade will turn east on 17th Street West, ending up back at Lincoln Middle School. The parade is scheduled to last about two hours.
