MANATEE -- The National Weather Service forecasts that the beautiful weather of this past weekend will continue into the new work week.
Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 78 and southerly winds of 8 to 10 mph.
Monday night, skies will turn partly cloudy, with a low around 60 and east-southeasterly winds of 6 to 10 mph.
Similar conditions are expected through Wednesday.
However, for Thursday -- the first day of the Manatee County fair -- the Weather Service is calling for a 30 percent chance of rain. The chance of rain continues through at least Friday, according to the Weather Service.
