MANATEE -- Manatee sheriff's detectives arrested a suspect they say confessed to robbing a 7-Eleven store Monday, according to the sheriff's office.

The store at 4451 Tallevast Road was robbed at 1:25 a.m. Monday, and investigating detectives developed Dustin J. Russ, 32, as the suspect, according to the news release.

Russ was located in the 1900 block of Whitfield Park Avenue and arrested early Friday. Detectives say Russ "provided a full confession to the crime," the report states.

Russ was charged with robbery and was being held without bond at the Manatee County jail.
