Rick Springfield will pine for "Jessie's Girl" for the umpteenth time today at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
He promises to play his other 1980s hits, too, including "I've Done Everything for You," "Love is Alright Tonite," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "Human Touch" and "Affair of the Heart."Who knows. Maybe Springfield will even revisit his boy band days.
A singer turned soap opera star turned singer, Springfield was born in Australia and in 1968 joined the teenybopper group Zoot, which became one of the most popular groups in Australia. He later went solo in 1971 and garnered his first U.S. success the following year with the Top 20 single "Speak to the Sky."
