Weather alert: Sunny skies on Tuesday in Bradenton

MANATEE -- The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies and a high near 77 in Bradenton on Tuesday.

East-northeasterly winds of 7 to 9 mph will turn southeasterly in the afternoon, according to forecasters.

Tuesday night, skies will turn mostly cloudy, with a low around 67 and north-northeasterly winds of 6 to 8 mph turning easterly after midnight.

There is no chance of rain in Tuesday's forecast.

The Weather Service did caution that there is a chance of dense fog in some areas of the Tampa Bay region during the next several days during the early morning and the late evening. Visibility could be restricted to less than a quarter-mile, according to forecasters.
