MANATEE -- Florida Highway Patrol troopers are seeking information regarding a crash 7:30 p.m. Monday at U.S. 301 and Amsterdam Avenue, when one car rear-ended another, and the driver fled the scene.

A 2006 Toyota was stopped at the red light, when a second silver-colored sedan crashed into it from behind, and then fled the scene.

Witnesses say the car that fled the scene had front-end damage.
