— Three suspects have been arrested in a Sarasota home invasion robbery that happened early Saturday morning, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.

According to a news release, deputies responded to call at about 1:25 a.m. to a home in the 2000 block of Palm Terrace. The three residents told deputies three masked men, armed with handguns and a baseball bat, had entered the home by force, demanding money.

No money was taken, although the suspects did take the residents' cell phones before fleeing the scene, the report said. No one was injured.

Deputies surveyed the neighborhood, leading to the arrests of Anthony Garruto and Denico Stewart. Jarrett Bennett was taken into custody later that day. All three men are charged with home invasion robbery using a weapon.
