ELLENTON — A woman was robbed after having an altercation at a bar in Ellenton Friday night, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

The victim got involved in an altercation with a couple at the Three Oaks Bar, 3503 U.S.301 N., according to a news release.

When the victim left the bar at about 10:40 p.m., the couple struck the victim with a weapon and robbed her before fleeing the scene.

The couple was described as a man and a women in their 30s. The male was wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans; the woman was 5 feet, 3 inches tall with short brown hair.
