On Thursday, Dec. 20, the Bradenton FireFighters Association delivered holiday spirit to Community Haven for Adults and Children with Disabilities.
Located at 4405 DeSoto Road in Sarasota, CHAC has been empowering the lives of children, teens, and adults with disabilities for more than 50 years. Currently offered services include The Selby Preschool, Adult Day Training, Transitions Services, Employment Services, Community Living, Kaleidoscope, Whole Child Manatee, and an amazing Plant Nursery!
For 40 years now, the BFFA has provided for Bradenton Fire Department members to serve lunch to all children, adult clients, and staff -- along with gifts delivered by Santa Claus and his Fire Elf! More than 30 BFD members (current and retired), some with their family members, participate in this much anticipated event.
