MANATEE -- Thursday will be cool and breezy in Bradenton, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters are calling for sunny skies, with a high near 64 and north-northwesterly winds of around 9 mph.
A high surf advisory for local Gulf beaches remains in effect until 7 a.m. The Weather Service said a moderate risk of rip currents is expected to linger through Thursday afternoon.
Thursday night, there will be mostly clear skies and a low of 45, with a northerly wind of about 7 mph becoming east-northeasterly after midnight, according to the Weather Service.
Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 71.
