The song-and-dance show "Two on Tap," which has an engagement Friday through Monday at the Manatee Players, marks the collaboration of national musical theater stars Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano.
The singing-and-tapping duo's act features tributes to greats such as Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers accompanied by favorites from the American Songbook. Giattino and DeStefano also tap with contemporary hits by the likes of Billy Joel, Norah Jones and the Black Eyed Peas.
Giattino's long list of credits includes appearing on Broadway in the revival of "42nd Sreet."
