MANATEE -- Two Bradenton businesses -- the Davinci's strip bar and a Circle K store -- were struck by gunfire about 3 a.m. Christmas morning in apparent drive-by shootings, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

No one was hurt, but each business was struck at least one time, according to a sheriff's office.

The report did not say whether investigators believe the shootings were connected, except that they occurred about the same time and the suspect vehicle was the same: possibly a black, older-model 4-door car.

Davinci's, 105 Cortez Road, and the Circle K, 3006 First St. W., are about a mile apart.
