Piranhas Baseball travel team wins USSSA crown

The Piranhas Baseball travel team won the USSSA championship and had three of its players -- Matthew Sullivan, Josh Lundy and Zack Weston -- selected to the all-star team. Piranhas Baseball travel team 11U will hold open tryouts for all youth ages 10 and 11 (must have been born after May 1, 2001) who have previously played baseball. Tryouts will be held on at 10 a.m. Jan. 5 at the Buffalo Creek Little League fields in Palmetto. Piranhas Baseball is a youth organization, made up of 11 players, that participates in about 20 tournaments across Florida per year (mostly in Bradenton and Tampa area).
